***NEW*** HER SIDE OF THE STORY - WOMEN IN SEATTLE HISTORY TOUR - Our newest tour program! Tour historic Lake View cemetery and take a journey through an array of stories of important women from Seattle's first hundred years. From the city's pioneers through groundbreaking women pilots of WWII, we'll explore a wide variety of women with incredible stories that aren't often found in the history books. This is not your usual "bawdy" Seattle history. Real stories of real people. Approximate time of the tour is 90-120 minutes.

SEATTLE PIONEER HISTORY TOUR - This walking tour will introduce you to Seattle's early pioneer era history.  Beginning near historic Pike Place market and ending in Pioneer Square, this tour will give you an essential look at the origins of the modern city of Seattle. Get to know the early decades of Seattle through the stories of the people, places and events of our past. Walk along the path of the Great Fire of 1889, the 1856 Battle of Seattle, Seattle's first school and so much more...experience history where it happened! 

The tour begins at 1st and University at the famous Hammering Man and travels south along 1st Avenue ending in Pioneer Square. Approximate time of the tour is 90-120 minutes. ​

SEATTLE'S CIVIL WAR LEGACY TOUR - Thousands of veterans of the Civil War made Seattle their home. This historic cemetery tour tells the collective and individual stories of fascinating and underappreciated aspect of Seattle's history. Approximate time of the tour is 90-120 minutes. 

 

CIVIL WAR SEATTLE PRIVATE TOUR - Our premier Civil War history private group tour for up to 6 people, this 2-hour-plus private tour is a more thorough and comprehensive tour than our Seattle's Civil War Legacy tour. Exploring both the Grand Army of the Republic cemetery and adjacent Lake View cemetery, this longer tour is designed for a deeper exploration into Seattle's Civil War connected history, Union and Confederate.
